CECM Trade and Tourism,Hon.Aisha Miraj, led a stakeholder meeting at Peponi Hotel to deliberate on the Manda Airport upgrade status.
The deliberations centred on:
1.Upgrade of Manda Airport to international status
2.Extension of Airport operational hours from 6:30am-8:30pm
3.Renovation and extension of the Runway
The government of H.E Issa Abdalla Timamy looks forward to tap on the potential of the opportunities brought about by an international airport.
Present were Lamu Tourism Association (LTA) representatives, Peponi Hotel proprietor, Shella Ward MCA Hon.Atwaa and Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) Manager.
